My daughter, Amy, is a freshman at the University of Michigan and being an overly protective mother, I sent her to college with supplements to help her fight off colds and the flu. 

In mid-September, one of her friends on campus was quarantined for a week with what was diagnosed by clinicians at U of M  as  the H1N1 influenza, otherwise known as the "Swine Flu."  A day or two after my daughter visited her friend (she visited him the day before he was quarantined) she started develop flu symptoms, but then she took the supplements I sent with her, the symptoms went away and she did not develop the flu! 

So far this year, in a dormitory full of students who have travelled from around the world to attend U of M, she has remained cold and flu free, is doing well academically and is getting off to a great start!

We are offering the supplements provided to my daughter in Flu Kit 1 in a special promotion for the 2009/2010 cold and flu season.  They include four products:   Olive Leaf Extract, Vitamin D3, Liposomal Gluathione, and our Corn Free Vitamin C crystals.  The glutathione is soy based, everything else is soy free.  All products are gluten and casein free.

There are many studies showing the Vitamin D reduces susceptibility to and severity of the flu.  Our form of Vitamin D3 is a form that is more assilimilatable by the body than other forms.

Our liquid liposomal glutathione and Vitamin C crystals (a powder which dissolves in a drink) provide a potent anti-oxidant combination.  Glutathione is one of the most powerful anti-oxidants and supports of the immune system that our bodies naturally produce.  

The liquid zinc drops help shorten the duration of an infection and the liquid E-lyte is an all-natural equivalent of Pedialyte, helping to soothe the intestinal tract and rehydrate the body.

We offer two flu kits:

Flu Kit 1 is the one I sent to college with my daughter that supports the immune system to help prevent the flu or a cold, 

Flu Kit 2 has the same supplements as Flu Kit 1 plus liquid zinc and E-lyte concentrate.   Zinc has been clinically shown to reduce the severity of viral infections and the liquid Elyte is a natural equivalent of Pedialyte, helping to soothe the digestive tract and promote hydration during intestinal infections, amongst its many benefits.  

Directions:  We include directions for using the kit with each kit ordered.  There are two simple steps:

1.  Take all the liquid supplements in a dosage that is appropriate for body weight and pour them in a cool or room temperature drink, such as orange juice or water. 

2.   Swallow the Olive Leaf and Vitamin D capsules with the drink.  (They are both small, the Olive Leaf extract is an 0 sized capsule and the the Vitamin D3 is smaller than an 0 sized capsule, a small pearl shaped capsule.)
